Selecting Doors For The Fitted Wardrobe

Choosing a finish and type of the wardrobe's doors can become quite challenging.

Here are the different types of doors available on the market:

• Two-door storage

The most popular types of wardrobe doors. They usually have a plain design, with large hanging rail for long items and at least one top shelf. Some of them also have few drawers as well, but this is not a standard requirement.

• Wardrobes with three doors

A three-door closets are usually more spacious and are ideal for families with many clothing items. They are similar to the double door closets, except for the fact that they have extra shelving on each side. They typically come with one or two hanging rails.

• Four-door wardrobes

Four-door wardrobes are similar to three door types. They have the same designs, but the four-door type may be larger.

• Sliding door wardrobes

These are the best door designs for people with limited space in the bedroom. You will not need to open the doors outwards and can instead slide it for easy access.

It is important to note that your wardrobe does not necessarily need to have a door. You can choose a design without doors and create a display while storing your clothes. These designs will save you space, but you should note that your mirror will need to find a different position in your bedroom.
